COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

This group made Olympia feel like "home" through friends, business connections, hard work together, and making a difference in the community. I'm proud to be a sustaining member.

I helped plan the Sept. 17, 2022 Olympia Vision Low Fair to connect visually impaired individuals and their care partners with resources to empower their independence.

I'm honored to be an advisor to the Olympia Host Lions, assisting in training volunteers for the Corbin Low Vision Center.

I served on the Board of Directors for two years and enjoy their events which fund ongoing 1 on 1 mentoring of local youth.

I provided free eyecare at the mission monthly after work from 2009 to 2019- and may be back again soon!

Vision and reading go hand in hand! I'm proud to volunteer for and donate at their events to see literacy and the love of reading grow in our area.

I enjoy attending and investing in the continuing growth of our symphony- Don't miss their concert on the Capitol lawn!

I've been excited by international travel and the opportunity to make a HUGE difference with clinical skills and donated glasses since 2004. Thankfully, we have a chapter here in Seattle full of amazing people! I was elected to the Board of Directors August 2022.

I served on the Board of Directors for 6 years, including 2 as Chair, to empower Spanish-speaking immigrants through education and other social services.

I'm an active parishioner of St. Michael Parish and volunteered to coordinate a FPU class in 2014. I enjoy helping others make sense of their personal finances and get out of debt!

I admire the organization in this club and enjoy running the custom routes each week, hosting races, and social events for members.

Scott and I are proud sponsors of the 2022 Golf Tournament and admire the continuing work to bolster our community.

Leading a Women Build team in 2021 was such fun- and seeing the families receive the keys to their new homes was even better.

To help Habitat raise funds, Rainier Eye donated all cabinetry at the start of our office remodel.

This Olympia-founded nonprofit helps keep those battling cancer in their homes and out of bankruptcy.

It's a springtime delight to deliver flowers for their May Day bouquet fundraiser annually.
